Creative Care Program
Creative Care is a multidisciplinary, creative arts program serving patients, families and caregivers in healthcare communities in the greater Saint Petersburg, Florida region. Funded by Allegany Franciscan Ministries in 2008, the Creative Care program currently serves more than 100 participants per week in four local healthcare settings including All Children’s Hospital, St. Anthony’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House and Benedict Haven. The Creative Care program trains professional, teaching artists in visual art, dance, music, and the literary arts to work in individual and group settings to address the whole person in the healthcare setting.
