Scott C.
Scott joined the Creative Clay community in 2015 as a part of the Creative Clay Summer Studio and then joined the Community Arts Program shortly after that. Scott has a positive personality that is contagious to his teachers and peers. He works in the studio and spends time in the community where he interacts with other artists and finds inspiration for his work.
In the studio, Scott explores artistic ways to express himself, and practices new techniques, such as fabric collage, paper marbling and crayon resist. Scott works in a variety of mediums including watercolors, acrylics, ceramics and paint markers. He draws carnivals, motorcycles, race cars, faces and many different animals. Scott’s intricate, abstract paintings are done in beautiful soft palettes in a painterly style. His abstract painting, “New Beginnings,” was the featured art in the 2017 exhibit of the same title, in the Good Folk Gallery.
Scott’s paintings are displayed and sold in the Good Folk Gallery, and throughout local venues. His painting of money is on permanent display at the Penny Hoarder in St Petersburg.
