Emily Turnage is a St. Petersburg native who attended St. Petersburg High School and graduated from University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Turnage joined Creative Clay in 2013 and became the Director of Community Arts in 2016. From 2016-2019, Emily also was the lead organizer for Creative Clay’s annual arts and music festival, Creative Clay Fest (formerly Folkfest St. Pete)
As an accomplished musician, Turnage brings a musical perspective to her leadership and direction of Creative Clay’s Community Arts Program.
