CORDIALLY INVITED III
with MAKE STUDIO, Baltimore
OUR CELEBRATION OF PROGRESSIVE STUDIOS RETURNS FOR
FREE FALL BALTIMORE 2020
Make Studio is excited to bring back what is now an annual event for us - Cordially Invited - our invitational exhibition and showcase of artists working at progressive art centers around the U.S. and the globe.
This year this event for Free Fall Baltimore will be in and hybrid in-person/online format, including a feature exhibition in Make Studio’s Showroom Gallery, as well as an extensive virtual exhibition and complementary online programming. Cordially Invited will be on view to the public in-person and online Friday, October 2nd through Wednesday, November 4th.
Participating artists come from 18 diverse studios, and select works from Make Studio’s roster of 35 artists will also be on display.
The art produced in progressive art studios is often exciting and thought-provoking because it's unexpected, and invites the art-loving public to better appreciate our neuro-diverse world. In 2020, progressive studios around the globe have been adapting to the pandemic, and providing vital connection and expressive outlets for their artists, even when their physical studios are closed and this poses logistical and pressing financial challenges. Now more than ever, these unique, vital artistic and social resources and their talented artists deserve our attention, recognition, and support.
